With longtime collaborator John Kuramoto, Norrie developed art for Ira Glass's 'Seven Things I've Learned', drew an illustration for SHE VOTES (Chronicle Books) and most recently, painted 'Carol' commemorating the finale of The Walking Dead (AMC Network) whilst contributing to Rise: A Pop History of Asian America from the Nineties to Now  for the Jon M. Chu short "The Road to Crazy Rich Asians".

Her next graphic novel Pearl (Graphix/Scholastic Books) will be released Summer 2024. She is finishing Allison Hayes: Larger Than Life (Oni Press), a fully painted graphic novel, her most ambitious work to date.

She is also the artist for Nights of Lono (AMC Network Publishing), a 5-issue comic book series written by Kirk Hammett and Marcel Feldmar, set to begin in 2023.

Born in 1974 Germany, Norrie is of Thai and Scottish descent. She grew up between the west coast and midwest before moving to New York City in 1997.

With little formal art training, her earliest jobs ranged from sales and editorial logistics in the comics industry to the fashion industry, to early HTML coding and UX design; she submitted stories regularly to anthologies which led to published illustration work and further creating visual storyscapes in film, interactive apps, and books.

She sometimes lives in Manhattan with millions of other people, but is more often with her daughter and flock of chickens in her Catskills studio dreaming of Hawai'i; she wishes she were there and not quite so addicted to her Twitter. Especially these days omg.
